Saginaw County

About the Coalition

Overview

Saginaw Health Plan is a community supported non-profit program designed to provide health care coverage the uninsured residents of Saginaw County. It has formed a growing network of local health care providers and public and private entities working collectively to address local and unmet oral health needs and to help ensure that residents have access to care. The Michigan Oral Health Coalition grant funding is being used to refine and improve Saginaw County’s oral health system of care for residents, including low-income uninsured and underinsured. A Dental Resource Guide is being developed for Saginaw, Bay and Midland Counties as residents frequently cross county borders to receive care. Through use of this Guide, individuals will become more knowledgeable and have access to a variety of available dental resources and providers.
