The Michigan Oral Health Coalition was formed in December
2002 in order to address the lack of oral health infrastructure
and funding in the State of Michigan. In December 2003 Michigan
has just eliminated the Medicaid adult dental benefit. The
Coalition developed 4 work groups and a steering committee
and drafted the Plan of Action for Improving the Oral Health
Status of Michigan's residents. This plan was approved as
Michigan's Plan of Action by MDCH in 2005. The Coalition
is proud of its many accomplishments. The 2006/2007
Annual Report highlights the Coalition's major accomplishments.
