Michigan’s comprehensive oral health plan is on its way
to becoming a reality and the Michigan Oral Health Coalition
needs your support. One of our short-term goals is to hire
an executive director to secure grants and sustain the actions
of the coalition. Specific goals, such as a fluoride varnish
program, a clearinghouse for educational materials, as well
as regular advocacy with elected officials, have been established.
The framework for success is in place, as is the commitment
of the Michigan Department of Community Health and the support
of the U.S. Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention.
To improve the oral health - and ultimately the overall
health - of Michigan’s
citizens, your time, expertise and financial resources are
necessary to truly make a difference. Won’t you make
